Production Supervisor

Manage and schedule daily plant production, packaging and shipping in an efficient manner providing high quality products to our customers. Ensure all equipment is maintained to ensure operating efficiency. Develop and maintain training plans and guides for team members.  Provide effective leadership to maximize production while maintaining a high degree of employee satisfaction. Manage daily, employee activities such as timekeeping, PTO, overtime, and employee attendance.  Requires: High school diploma and/or GED.  Supervisory experience required, preferably in a manufacturing setting.   Day shift 6a-6p and Night shift 6p-6a.

Operations Manager

Manage and schedule daily plant production, packaging and shipping in an efficient manner providing high quality products to our customers. Continually analyze all production and packaging lines maximize efficiency. Coordinate ingredient delivery with suppliers and the Supply Chain Management Department. Develop and maintain training plans and guides for team members. Monitor training for quality, safety and application.  Provide effective leadership to maximize production while maintaining a high degree of employee satisfaction. Requires: High school diploma. Advanced education or technical certification preferred.  BA / BS in industrial, mechanical or business administration, or a 4-year technical degree in a related discipline.  Experience may be substituted on a year for year basis after two year technical degree.  Requires 3 year’s of experience in a supervisory role and prefer a minimum of 3 year’s of experience in manufacturing management.

Quality Assurance Manager

Continuous improvement of plant floor quality systems; training and standardization of quality policies and procedures; food safety compliance; quality analytical testing; and communication.  Lead the Quality and Food Safety Team’s development using plant principles.  Develop training.  Administer GMP.  Analyze customer complaints.  Administer HACCP system.  Manage micro-biological, environment, and finish product verification programs.  Administer Quality & Food safety programs.  Coordinate execution and follow-up of regulatory internal and external audits (FDA, USDA, State, AIB, Corporate, etc). Minimum education requirement – Food Science or similar degree, with 5 years’ experience in food related field, preferred.   Plant Quality experience preferred. Purchasing Agent

Work with inventory control processes, procedures, and production planning for accurate recording of all relevant transactions using the Material Requirements Planning system to keep business running effectively.  Candidate must have the ability to use sound judgment and discretion in making important purchasing decisions, including production planning, inventory control, and purchasing functions.
Education level: Minimum high school diploma required; Associates degree in Business or equivalent experience preferred.  Experience in inventory control, purchasing, supply chain management or production planning fields.  C.J. Foods experience preferred.  Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.  May substitute experience at C.J. Foods on a year for year basis..

Position: Extruder Operator
Description: Lead day-to-day monitoring of QA Techs roles, ensure quality products are produced through the proper operation of extrusion and related equipment. Set-up equipment and produce products using run sheets and written formulas.  Direct and extrusion process and set-up skills as necessary.

Position:  Maintenance Technician
Description: Supports the manufacturing facilities in all areas of the manufacturing process. Maintains the highest levels of productivity, efficiency, safety, quality, and sanitation. Form, fabricates and assembles components for experimental projects, and repairs and modifies existing machines/equipment/ facilities to ensure reliable, consistent operation according to directions, specifications and approval of supervision.

Position: QA Tech
Description: The Level I QA Technician position is intended to be a “starting” point, from which the technician is expected to advance to capability on both sides of the process before the two year “target”.   The Level I Technician should be capable of the required sampling and testing on either the processing or packaging side of the process with some assistance from the other QA technicians or Leads.  The Level I Technician should have a good working knowledge of Food Safety and Quality policies.

**All positions at C.J. Foods, Inc. require employees to work in areas where they may be exposed to temperatures ranging from 50 to 100 degrees, depending on the season and workstation. In addition to climbing up and down vertical ladders, step ladders, and stairs to package and clean, constant walking and standing may also be required for the entire shift length. All production employees must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
