Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst is an integral part of the accounting and finance team responsible for financial reporting and analysis, assisting Controller with monthly, quarterly, and annual close, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and special projects as assigned. This candidate will work directly with senior management including the VP of Sales, VP of Operations, and CFO on various projects and will be responsible for communicating ideas and suggestions on cost saving and profit generating strategies. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance required. Three years of general accounting experience required and five years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Previous experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and financial statement (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement) preparation required. Previous experience with computerized ERP (JDE) system preferred.  Proficiency with computerized accounting system required. Excellent computer skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel computer programs.  Proficient in all accounting areas, specifically budgeting, cost accounting, and general ledger. Working knowledge of all generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Production Shift Supervisor

Manage and schedule daily plant production, packaging and shipping in an efficient manner providing high quality products to our customers. Ensure all equipment is maintained to ensure operating efficiency. Develop and maintain training plans and guides for team members.  Provide effective leadership to maximize production while maintaining a high degree of employee satisfaction. Manage daily, employee activities such as timekeeping, PTO, overtime, and employee attendance.  Requires: High school diploma and/or GED.  Supervisory experience required, preferably in a manufacturing setting.   Day shift 6a-6p and Night shift 6p-6a.

Position:

Loader

Description: Load finished goods for transportation to clients’ specifications.  Unload inbound materials.  Track products and raw ingredients using computerized inventory system.  Safely operate a forklift with accuracy and efficiency.  Inspect finished product for stack quality, count accuracy lot code accuracy, and defects before loading.  Load trucks with finished product according to customer requirements and document the process.  Make pick lists and Bill of Ladings.  Conduct cycle counts.  Move trailers and yard truck as necessary.  Able to use computerized inventory system and hand held scanners to run location, stock status, periodic inventory, and shipment summary reports, and create pick lists.  Assist Receiving and Inventory personnel.  Maintain assigned equipment and cleanliness of all areas.  Position is days (Monday–Friday) with some weekend hours possible based on the needs of the business.

Position:

Quality Assurance Tech

Description: The Level I QA Technician position is intended to be a “starting” point, from which the technician is expected to advance to capability on both sides of the process before the two year “target”.   The Level I Technician should be capable of the required sampling and testing on either the processing or packaging side of the process with some assistance from the other QA technicians or Leads.  The Level I Technician should have a good working knowledge of Food Safety and Quality policies.   Position available nights (6pm-6am).

Position:

Food Safety Tech - Multiple Positions

Description: Perform sanitation tasks from the Master Sanitation Checklist. These tasks include cleaning inside equipment and at heights, and require use of chemicals, tools and equipment requiring specific and specialized training. Perform daily cleaning tasks as assigned by sanitation crew supervisor. Keep the plant in a condition that maintains a standard approved by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) and all other regulatory inspectors by performing the following duties. This position’s work schedule every week will include assigned days during the week and a plant down-day (weekend day) mandatory working as a complete Food Safety crew. Position is available days nights (6pm to 6am).

Position:

Maintenance Planner

Description: Implement systematic maintenance systems for scheduling preventative and progressive equipment inspections and/or repairs.  Ownership of the maintenance scheduling, storeroom inventory control and ordering process of parts and supplies to ensure reduction of unplanned downtime for maintenance activities.  Ensure all equipment is maintained to ensure operating efficiencies and effectiveness.  Develop and maintain training plans, job aids, One Point Lessons and guides for job specific processes.  Provide effective systems to maximize equipment uptime and reduce site repair and maintenance costs.  Accountable for meeting or exceeding safety and quality standards.  Apply personnel practices that adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.  Troubleshoot production/maintenance problems on a timely basis.  Ensure required paperwork is completed accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.  Operate forklift.

IT Technician

Description: Responsible for handling tier 1 helpdesk issues ensuring the uptime of C.J. Foods computer network operations; communication systems between facilities, and assisting users with the maintenance installation of software and hardware.  Maintain, analyze troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.  Assist in maintenance of LAN and WAN network.  Maintain infrastructure related documentation.  Assist in day to day IT process – backups, patch management, and vulnerability assessment scans.  Assist in user set up.  Must handle confidential and sensitive data.  Strict confidentiality is required.

Position:

Packaging Operator

Description: Direct all activities including set-up and operations on assigned packaging line. Supervise those assigned to the packaging team. Capable of performing all duties outlined for Packaging Line Technicians. Package product in bags, boxes, or bulk containers; label, and stack on pallets. Maintain product and packaging quality through visually inspecting finished product. Ensures product, bags, wraps, seals, boxes, and pallets meet highest quality standards. Immediately report all quality issues to the Production Supervisor. Participates in full facility and equipment clean-up between product runs, as directed. Responsible for machine set ups. Assist with QA data collection and calibrations. Ensure required paperwork is accurate and complete. Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Positions available nights (6pm-6am).

**All positions at C.J. Foods, Inc. require employees to work in areas where they may be exposed to temperatures ranging from 50 to 100 degrees, depending on the season and workstation. In addition to climbing up and down vertical ladders, step ladders, and stairs to package and clean, constant walking and standing may also be required for the entire shift length. All production employees must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
