Cost Accountant

Assists the Financial Analyst in all areas of accounting; specifically responsible for standard cost accounting, assemblies, in a completely integrated MRP environment.   Perform standard cost accounting duties, enter new sku’s & new ingredients into accounting inventory system; perform other related accounting duties including cross-training in general ledger; assist the CFO & Financial Analyst with annual budget preparation.  High School Diploma/GED required.  A four-year degree preferred; or, a combination of two-year degree in accounting, business or finance, will be considered.  Two years accounting experience desirable, preferably in a manufacturing environment.  Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required.  Ability to do Vlookups & Pivot Tables proficiently.  High attention to detail, with the innate desire to balance to the penny.

Production Supervisor

Manage and schedule daily plant production, packaging and shipping in an efficient manner providing high quality products to our customers. Ensure all equipment is maintained to ensure operating efficiency. Develop and maintain training plans and guides for team members.  Provide effective leadership to maximize production while maintaining a high degree of employee satisfaction. Manage daily, employee activities such as timekeeping, PTO, overtime, and employee attendance.  Requires: High school diploma and/or GED.  Supervisory experience required, preferably in a manufacturing setting.   Day shift 6a-6p and Night shift 6p-6a.

Quality Systems & Export Manager

The Quality Systems and Export Manager assures completion of regulatory audits and completes country specific export documentation for products produced at CJ Foods.  This position manages the Quality Systems software, IQS, this includes expanding the operating parameter to meet business requirements and developing training material.  The Quality Systems and Export Manager will complete vendor audits, make recommendations for approved vendor list changes, and manage ingredient specifications.  The Quality Systems and Export Manager will manage the Internal Quality System Audit process completing two Internal Quality System Audits per site, and tracking corrective action responses.     B.S. degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in food related field preferred. Coursework in food science, physical sciences or Quality related field preferred. Experience in quality and regulatory may be substituted for education when supported by formalized training. Supervisory experience preferred..

Position: QA Tech
Description: The Level I QA Technician position is intended to be a “starting” point, from which the technician is expected to advance to capability on both sides of the process before the two year “target”.   The Level I Technician should be capable of the required sampling and testing on either the processing or packaging side of the process with some assistance from the other QA technicians or Leads.  The Level I Technician should have a good working knowledge of Food Safety and Quality policies.

Position:  Maintenance Technician
Description: Supports the manufacturing facilities in all areas of the manufacturing process. Maintains the highest levels of productivity, efficiency, safety, quality, and sanitation. Form, fabricates and assembles components for experimental projects, and repairs and modifies existing machines/equipment/ facilities to ensure reliable, consistent operation according to directions, specifications and approval of supervision.

Position: Upper Warehouse
Description: Provide packaging lines with material needed to operate (bags, pallets, slip sheets, chipboard, etc.). Transport finished goods from packaging lines to stretch wrap conveyor. Safely operate forklift. Receive finished product from manufacturing lines and transport to stretch wrapper area for processing.

Position: Lower Warehouse
Description: Ticket and store finished goods in warehouse. Track production to accurately fulfill customer orders. Scan all materials used during shift. Safely operate forklift (Must be able to obtain C.J. Foods certification) accurately and efficiently. Operate Stretch Wrapper, Palletizer and other warehouse equipment. Responsible for becoming familiar with product ticketing and customer requirements for palletization. Operate computerized inventory system to run necessary reports (production, non-scan, location, receipts, etc.) and enter tickets into the receiving screen.

**All positions at C.J. Foods, Inc. require employees to work in areas where they may be exposed to temperatures ranging from 50 to 100 degrees, depending on the season and workstation. In addition to climbing up and down vertical ladders, step ladders, and stairs to package and clean, constant walking and standing may also be required for the entire shift length. All production employees must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
