Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst is an integral part of the accounting and finance team responsible for financial reporting and analysis, assisting Controller with monthly, quarterly, and annual close, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and special projects as assigned. This candidate will work directly with senior management including the VP of Sales, VP of Operations, and CFO on various projects and will be responsible for communicating ideas and suggestions on cost saving and profit generating strategies. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance required. Three years of general accounting experience required and five years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Previous experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and financial statement (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement) preparation required. Previous experience with computerized ERP (JDE) system preferred.  Proficiency with computerized accounting system required. Excellent computer skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel computer programs.  Proficient in all accounting areas, specifically budgeting, cost accounting, and general ledger. Working knowledge of all generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Production Shift Supervisor

Manage and schedule daily plant production, packaging and shipping in an efficient manner providing high quality products to our customers. Ensure all equipment is maintained to ensure operating efficiency. Develop and maintain training plans and guides for team members.  Provide effective leadership to maximize production while maintaining a high degree of employee satisfaction. Manage daily, employee activities such as timekeeping, PTO, overtime, and employee attendance.  Requires: High school diploma and/or GED.  Supervisory experience required, preferably in a manufacturing setting.   Day shift 6a-6p and Night shift 6p-6a.

Production Scheduler

The Production Scheduler is an integral part of the operations team helping to coordinate and sequence all incoming customer purchase orders to successfully link extrusion and packaging requirements to achieve optimal efficiency.  This process ensures packaging equipment capacities are equivalent to or exceeds extrusion outputs.  Additionally this position is responsible for coordinating and communicating all work associated with any product that requires rework.  Monitor, maintain, and/or adjust weekly schedule to accommodate unforeseen production problems/issues.  Creating rolling 3-week forecast schedule; monitor daily and adjust to meet the needs of the business.  Analyze each work order for completion and communicate shortages for root cause analysis.  Ensure all employees receive the appropriate level of business systems training and can demonstrate knowledge and skill requirement.  Help to monitor and track training activities.  Act as interim Shift Supervisor and assume all associated responsibilities when needed.  Requires:  High School Diploma/GED.  Supervisory experience preferred.  Knowledgeable in plant scheduling and multi-line operations required.  Experience in JDE, Scheduler, Trans Collector, and Hourly Schedule preferred.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, including Microsoft Excel.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to maintain confidentiality.  Basic math skills to include rations, percentages, addition, subtraction, etc.

Position:

Inventory/Receiving Specialist

Description: Establish and operate warehouse operation in support of food manufacturing activities.  Organize, implement and execute proper warehouse sanitation and inventory SOP’s to facilitate 24 hour support of manufacturing.  Unload and process items received into the facility in an accurate and timely manner.  Prepare accurate, timely documentation and transactions that follow established protocols for receipt, inspection, inventory control, issuance, and consumption in support of manufacturing.  Support all manufacturing activities as requested including transport of materials, WIP, and finished goods product between facility locations.  Responsible for all aspects of inventory control.

Position:

Inventory Clerk

Description: Position is responsible for all cycle counts, assisting Operations with inventory and customer inventory reporting.  Audit inventory in plant locations, answering questions.  Complete Inventory Adjustments, & adjust to sales orders in, etc. in MRP environment.  Generate, approve & log Cycle counts monthly.  Lead year-end physical inventory and special inventories throughout the year.  Generate customer reports & complete customer packaging shrinks on a monthly, quarterly, & yearly basis, per customer request. Position currently is a Monday thru Friday, 8a-5p.  Hours may change to twelve hour shifts, assigned to a day team, for business needs after filled & training is complete.

Human Resources Recruiter

Description: Serve as an ambassador for CJF in the recruiting process for hourly positions.  Utilize various venues for recruitment, such as seeking out and attending job fairs, through social media, local newspapers, on-line job boards, specialty societies and groups, working with local community colleges and other educational institutions, and the like.  Use creativity in the area of recruitment to find new and fresh ways to tap into the workforce.  Create job postings and ensure postings are visible in employee staff areas, CJF website, social media sites, newspapers, and other various formats.  Review applications for hourly positions.  Coordinate and provide support for recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, offer letters, new hire packets, new hire communications, background processing, and other pre- and post-employment activities.  Schedule new hourly associates for pre-employment activities and to attend new employee orientation (NEO). Prepare new hire documents.  Provide assistance to all HR team members in the areas such as research for HRIS systems, job description updates, tracking of documents, safety initiatives, and other HR-related duties.

Description: Provide packaging lines with material needed to operate.  Transport finished goods form packaging lines to stretch wrap conveyor.  Safely operate a forklift accurately and efficiently.  Receive finished product from manufacturing lines and transport to stretch wrapper area for processing.  Receive and weigh WIP.  Inspect finished product for stack quality and count.  Responsible for becoming familiar with product ticketing and customer requirements for palletization.  Operate hand held scanner and computerized inventory system to check production and location report for materials.  Position available nights (6pm to 6am).

Description: Ticket and store finished goods in warehouse.  Track production to accurately fulfill customer orders.  Scan all materials used during shift.  Safely operate forklift accurately and efficiently.  Receive finished product form manufacturing lines and ticket by entering into computerized inventory system.  Responsible for inspecting finished product for stack quality, count and lot code accuracy.  Operate Stretch Wrapper, Palletizer, and other warehouse equipment.  Responsible for becoming familiar with product ticketing and customer requirements for palletization.  Know where to get the information and how to interpret it.  Able to issue raw ingredients to manufacturing and packaging.  Communicate with Packaging Operators on pallet counts to ensure orders are filled correctly.  Maintain assigned equipment.  Participate in full facility and equipment clean up between product runs, as directed.  Positions available days (6am to 6pm) and nights (6pm to 6am).

Description: Load finished goods for transportation to clients’ specifications.  Unload inbound materials.  Track products and raw ingredients using computerized inventory system.  Safely operate a forklift with accuracy and efficiency.  Inspect finished product for stack quality, count accuracy lot code accuracy, and defects before loading.  Load trucks with finished product according to customer requirements and document the process.  Make pick lists and Bill of Ladings.  Conduct cycle counts.  Move trailers and yard truck as necessary.  Able to use computerized inventory system and hand held scanners to run location, stock status, periodic inventory, and shipment summary reports, and create pick lists.  Assist Receiving and Inventory personnel.  Maintain assigned equipment and cleanliness of all areas.  Position is days (Monday–Friday) with some weekend hours possible based on the needs of the business.

**All positions at C.J. Foods, Inc. require employees to work in areas where they may be exposed to temperatures ranging from 50 to 100 degrees, depending on the season and workstation. In addition to climbing up and down vertical ladders, step ladders, and stairs to package and clean, constant walking and standing may also be required for the entire shift length. All production employees must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
